MISSON
Students Against Scams is a nonprofit that empowers communities across all generations to recognize, prevent, and combat fraud through student-led education, innovative digital outreach, and advocacy. We transform complex knowledge of cyber safety into accessible resources that protect savings and digital safety.
VISION
Scams ultimately fail when people are informed, confident, and able to recognize and report them. By sharing knowledge and supporting those who are target of scams, we work to prevent scams from causing harm and protect trust in our communities.
HISTORY
What began as a 10th-grade research project on the rise of AI-driven financial scams uncovered a harsh reality: seniors are the most frequent victims, with many cases going unreported due to fear and shame.
The impact of fraudulent scams was severe and undeniable. Motivated to take action, we created Cyber Safety for Seniors, an elder-friendly guide designed to help seniors recognize and protect themselves from scams.
In 2025, this effort grew into Students Against Scams, a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating seniors, raising awareness, and building a safer digital community for all generations.
